After learning about the VFX program After Effects at the LA Film School, I immediately fell in love (although now I consider it a bit of a love/hate relationship.)
This program does everything I ever wanted to do. Explosions, green screen, horrifically gory blood splatters rotoscoping, visual distortions.. you name it, I've tried it.
After Effects is awesome for many reasons, but it is especially great because I know Adobe products best, and how their programs think.
I am also growing my program menu to include Shake & Maya by 2010.
